BOOKING TERMS
Eligibility :
Intern :
An intern, whether pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate studies, is a student enrolled in a study program at another university or higher education institution who, in order to fulfill certain requirements of that program, is hosted by the University of Montreal. They must be under the supervision of a faculty member and/or a research director at UdeM for the duration of their stay. The internship must be for a minimum period of one month and cannot exceed twelve months (non-consecutive). The length of stay in the Residences may vary in relation to the minimum or maximum periods of an internship, as long as the stay dates fall within those of the internship. In the event of an extension of the stay beyond the initial internship dates, a new letter with updated dates must be provided.
Certain situations may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to contact us before making a reservation.
An international student who is on an exchange program or part of bilateral agreements managed by UdeM International is not considered an intern.
Professor :
Only visiting professors are eligible for this rate. A visiting professor refers to an individual who stays at the University of Montreal for a limited period and fulfills functions such as: full, associate, or assistant professor, lecturer, or any other academic function when the person is invited by a department or faculty.

Send us a letter or email from the administrative office of your department or Faculty (UdeM), or from an affiliate institution (HEC or Polytechnique), that shows your affiliation with an academic activity as soon as possible.
A minimum 7-night stay is required to take advantage of our reduced rate for guest teacher and trainee.
Please note that for stays of 31 nights or more, taxes do not apply. A deposit is required to confirm your booking, according to the length of your stay with us.
31 days or more: One month rental
Under 31 days: One week rental
Total rates for your stay must be paid in full two weeks prior to your stated arrival date. If your reservation is made less than two weeks before your arrival, the entire stay will be charged at the time of booking.
Payment terms: Debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). You must forward to us a purchase order issued by the Université de Montréal department or Faculty.
Cancellation terms: Deposits are non-refundable.
